What happens next

No surprises between your first email and a signature.

Buying professional services is uncomfortable largely because the process is hidden. Here is ours, in order, with the timings we hold ourselves to.

  1. 01

    Within two business days

A written reply from a senior person

Every enquiry is read by someone who could lead the work. You get a considered response — including, occasionally, an honest note that this is not work we should be doing and a suggestion of who might.

  2. 02

    30 minutes

    An introductory call

No slides and no discovery theatre. We ask what is not working, what has already been tried, and who has to be convinced. You should leave the call with at least one useful observation whether or not we work together.

  3. 03

    Before anything sensitive is shared

    Mutual non-disclosure

We execute an NDA in both directions before commercially sensitive material changes hands. Nothing confidential should appear in a first email.

  4. 04

Within a week of the call

A written scope and a fixed price

The outcome, what is explicitly out of scope, the decision gates and dates, what we need from you and when, and the running costs stated separately from the build. One number, defensible line by line.

  5. 05

    At signature

A named lead and a start date

You meet the person who will actually run the engagement, because they were on the first call. Weekly written status begins in week one and does not stop.

  6. 06

    At every gate

A decision you are allowed to make

Each gate is a genuine stop-or-continue point with the evidence in front of you. A programme nobody is permitted to halt is not governance, it is momentum.
